Tree of Life Cottage

Our cottage in the mountains is available to you for a romantic getaway, a weekend with friends or a place to make memories with your family.  It is located in Linville Land Harbor, a resort community on 750 acres.  The resort is easily accessed from a main road but to get around the area, a 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS REQUIRED DECEMBER-MARCH.

COTTAGE

Our cottage sleeps six  and has 2 bathrooms.  It has 2 bedrooms  with 1 queen bed in each. The second  "bedroom" with a queen bed is technically a sleeping area since it does not have a closet and is separated from the livingroom with curtains.   There is another bedroom with a twin and a trundle bed. Maximum occupancy is 6. There is a TV in the livingroom and one in all of the bedrooms. The cottage has a washer, dryer, central AC/heat, gas fire place, cable television and WiFi.  The kitchen has a 6-person farm table, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, sugar, powdered cream and basic spices.  The kitchen is also equipped with a full set of dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils.  The cottage has a small patio in the back which is perfect for relaxing and s'more-making in the fire pit.  The tennis center, a children's fishing pond and the lake are a short walk from the cottage.  Linville Land Harbor is located in the foothills of the mountains so driving is easy but you still need 4 wheel drive in the winter to get around.  The resort has its own snow plows and police. Note: The cottage has external security cameras.

LOCATION

Tree of Life cottage is the perfect home base to enjoy everything the area has to offer--fishing, hiking, skiing, Appalachian State University events, wineries, antique and craft stores, outlet shopping and beautiful mountain towns.  Grandfather Mountain (20 min.), Banner Elk (21 min.), Sugar Mountain (21 min.), Boone (36 min.),  Blowing Rock (38 min.),  Beech Mountain (38 min.), Asheville (1 hr. 20 min.).

RULES

Renters must be 21 years old or over.

No smoking.

No pets.

No parties or events.

Owner requires picture of photo ID prior to renting.
