Perfect location to enjoy the area!  The Banner Haven Beehive Apartment is on a 1.25 acre property and located 2 minutes from Downtown Banner Elk, 11 minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort and 13 minutes from Sugar Mountain.  The property has a gazebo, field and fire pit which are available to guests. This 2BR/2 Bath suite cabin combines the right amount of relaxation, beauty and seclusion while being minutes from great dining, skiing, hiking and shopping. The property is easily accessed from a main road but to get around the area, a 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED DECEMBER-MARCH.

The apartment is on the second story of our 1910 mountain house and has its own entrance.  Guests will have exclusive access to the entire second floor of the house.  It has a queen bed in each bedroom and a day bed with trundle (2 twin beds) in the living room.  The livingroom has a TV and a children's play space with an arcade game, tent, books and board games.  The apartment has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, cooktop (no oven) Keurig, and toaster oven.  Our huge backyard is ready for you to barbecue, play ball, sit in the gazebo, make s'mores in the fire pit, or pitch a tent with your kids and "camp" with all of the comforts of home.  There is a mountainside, ravine and creek running behind the property.  

Parents should be careful with their children at the edge of the property due to the ravine.

There is also a small cabin for two in the back which is a separate rental. ) When rented together, the property sleeps 8-9.)

Note: There are security cameras on the exterior of the property.
